West Entrance to Yellowstone Opens Friday

According to this news release, the roads from West Yellowstone to Gardiner, West Yellowstone to Canyon Village, and West Yellowstone to Old Faithful will all be open, but there is still plenty of snow. The South Entrance doesn’t open until May 9.
There has been so much snow that two bulldozers have broken down, according to the Jackson Hole Daily. Closer to home, the bears are waking up in Grand Teton National Park, according to the Billings Gazette.
